Poker Hi Lo strategy

T. J. Cloutier and Tom McEvoy have printed a book that

is very greatly desired by poker players. They may be generous

too greatly away in Championship No-reduce Hold’em and Pot-

reduce Ho Id’em … but that’s OK with me! In statement, I was very

stunned when T. J. told me that he and Tom were letters

this book because in the elapsed, there have been epoch at the

poker slab when I would say something to another player

that I thought might help him, and T. J. would go ballistic

about not minus to “educate” the opposition. I am very thankful

that he has altered his thoughts.

All of the top poker players think that if they get blessed,

they are unbeaslab. But during the World chain of Poker, or

the world that I would like to trade a part with, it is T. J.

Cloutier. When I first met him in 1989 in Malta, it was the first

time that he had ever played against Europeans. After just a

few hours of play, he mainly knew everything about everyone

who played poker in Europe. All he had to do was play

you for a few hands and he knew closely what you were made

of and who was gifted of liability what.

He sits in a tournament and moves from one slab to

another slab and he shortly knows every poker player in the

world; and if he doesn’t, he will find out in a few record …

nearer than someone besides that I know. Someepoch, I can’t

body people out as hurriedly as he does, but the way that he

drama them is a good enough example for me to survey. I have

never seen someone so stark. We played regulate-up at the rhombus Jim Brady tournament

in 1990 just after I had won the World chain of Poker. I

world would have done that! Later, we were joking about it.

This was the last $10,000 tournament at the rhombus

Jim Brady; the first prize was $250,000 and moment place was

$160,000. There hadn’t been a trade — we were live for it

all. How could this guy have read his opponent like that? I

will never foget that hand … and I have told him many epoch

that he made the best play that I have ever seen. He is the

only player in the world that is gifted of business a pot like

that. I think that T. J. is the best psychologist in the world!

Some of us might escape stuff at the poker slab… we get

complex in conversation and other stuff that are available on.

But it seems to me that when T. J. is complex in conversation

at the slab, he still isn’t escapeing a thing. someway, as he is

chatting, he is still live his opponents fittingly. It comes so

obviously to him. I think the remainder of us have to work hard at it.

Someepoch, when we are making decisions about business or

not business, we think about it for a few record and then we

might change our thoughtss. But T. J.’s decisions are based on his

first instinct — The first thing that crosses his thoughts is his last

action. He acts more hurriedly than somebody besides I know.

Tom McEvoy and I are more obvious, mathematical, and

theoretical in our elegance. mostly, we are looking more at the

price of the hand than the price of the opponent… and

that has been successful for us. T. J. would somewhat play his opponents

than his licenses. His weight is more on his opponents,

option his acne at the poker slab, where Tom prefers to

have the best hand. In this sense, I think that T. J. and Tom

have the best partnership in letters this book. Tom writes the

more theoretical part and T. J. does the more psychoobvious

aspects of the book.

I think that they are waking up the senses of people with

the letters of this book. The first time that you read a book, it

may not have an contact charming you. But over time, you become

informed of the stuff that the authors are chatting about. maybe,

when T. J. was education poker, there was no book to help

him. But now, he and Tom are bringing their charming thoughts to

you. And in the end, this book will make a big difference.

T. J. has not won the World chain no-curb label yet, but

in my view, he is the most deserving qualities to win it in the

prospect. He is regulate and shoulders above somebody besides … he is a

legend. I deem that, by far, he is the number-one no-curb

poker player in the world. A
